How I done last week

Well last weekend was absolutely grim, With only Chris Wood not blanking for me. Everyone struggled however so you cant take too much from that, we just have to go again this weekend.

Player comparison:

Wood Vs Raul:

This week we have battle of the cheap strikers, Forests Wood vs Fulhams Raul.

To start with i have to say that both of these players are incredible options for their price. With Wood brining in 46 points in the opening 8 game weeks and Raul brining in 36. Both feel like set and forget options up till christmas at the very least with a decent run of fixtures coming up for both players.

I would say Woods run of fixtures is more difficult with Newcastle, Arsenal and Man city coming up in the next six weeks, However as we have seen so far clean sheets are a rarity these days so this shouldn't scare anyone off. In between these fixtures wood also plays Leicester, West ham and Ipswich, all games you would back him to do well in.

wood vs Raul

Rauls fixtures look a little less intimating with Everton, Brentford and palace being his next three.

Over the next six game weeks fantasy football hubs predicts that both will score 3 and get one assist each, with Wood getting an extra 3 predicted points over this period.

Both players are great options and i do feel Wood has a slight edge but he does cost a little bit more. I would in all honesty try get both in if you are wildcarding in the next few weeks or you are looking for a haaland replacement.

Palmer vs Son:

With Saka most probably injured for the next week or so Palmer v Son seems to be this weeks debate in FPL.

Palmer

With the next three fixtures favouring Son as he has Palace, Aston Villa and then Ipswich coming up compared to Palmers Newcastle, United and Arsenal I would definitely be considering Son if you have a wildcard still available to use and are willing to use it in game week 12, if not I would go for Palmer, Yes his fixtures may be harder but Newcastle and United aren't as hard of fixtures as we would typically expect, he may do a bit worse than Son in the next week or two but after game week 12 Palmer is an absolute must in your team so why not use this Saka Injury as a chance to get him in now.

Injury updates:

Saka will most probably miss this game so i would avoid, dont forget Saliba is suspended too

Sinisterra will miss this weekends game

Wissa is still a doubt, I wouldn't risk putting him back in your team

Pedro is still injured and Welback is a doubt

Munez is still a doubt

Branthwaite is back and ready to play this weekend

Jacob Geaves is injured and wont play this weekend.

Jota still ruled out

De Bruyne wont play

Both Gibbs-white and Hudson-odoi have knocks and are doubts

Son is still a doubt but will most likely play

Buys of the week:

Wood:

Class option silly not to have him

Gvardiol:

Of your going to use a transfer on a defender he is your main option

Son:

last week was great if hes fit and you dont have spurs options get him

Mbeumo:

Class option with Ipswich coming up

Raul:

Great cheap striker option

Palmer:

Not bad next two fixtures and start to get yourself ready for game week 12

Ait-Nouri:

Decent Fixtures up to game week 20 so get him, you'll probably end up with him at some point

Don’t buys:

Havertz:

Arsenals fixtures aren't great

Duran:

Dont get a sub, he scores but its not a safe pick

Watkins:

He is a good option BUT expensive better cheaper picks at the moment

Diaz:

Hes now a rotation risk

Rogers:

Bad run of fixtures, if you have him hold out though

Kulusevski:

had a good game last week but id go Johnson over him if you want a Spurs player

Keane:

Branthwaite is back so keanes up to be benched despite his great goalscoring run

Differential pick of the week:

Delap got two points last week dissapointing from him and Ipswich bad differential pick

Adama i my option this week. I love this guy Everton, Brentford, palace and Wolves coming up hes the best differential this week.

Captain picks:

To triple captain or to not… That is the question?

Haaland Hat trick again

Haalands been on awful form and i’ve really been questioning keeping him or not let alone triple captaining him this weekend. However I have him and you probably do too.

Southampton have been awful this season and wont sit back against city, this makes this a good fixture the best fixture to triple captain in until game week 30 where City play Leicester at home. Probably the second best triple captain pick all season after Haaland v Ipswich earlier in the season. I will probably do it will you?

If you dont trust Haaland as a captain pick i would go fr Mbeumo and then Palmer as my back up options.

My team:

Here is my team for this weekend. I still havent decided on the Haaland Triple captain yet but i feel like i might just before the deadline. Expected to get 67 points this weekend and that would go up to 75 if i use my triple captain. Not expecting the best weekend but i can hope.

my gw9 team

Good luck to everyone this weekend and i cant wait to hear how you done on Monday.
