Palmer or Saka? Time to back Wolves?

How I done last week:

Team of the week:

The fixtures:

Is it time to go for wolves?

Wolves over the next six game weeks have the best rated fixtures in the league. With Southampton coming up next, but is it time to commit to wolves players like many Fanasty Football Experts have told us.

The three players we have seen suggested time and time again have been Cunha, Stand Larsen and Ait-Nouri. Who have been Wolves highest points scorers so far this season.

Wolves do have very strong fixtures coming up beginning with Southampton in game week 11 and going all the way up to game week 17 when they play Leicester away. However with this great run of fixtures comes the great point of Wolves are bottom and haven’t actually won a game yet, so there is some element of risk in this. In this though they have got Arsenal, Liverpool and Man city out of the way, and possibly to their benefit in this debate only have failed to score against Arsenal all season.

I would say if you are looking for a cheap striker I would recommend giving Cunha a punt who comes in at £6.7 million his, if Wolves are scoring it will probably be through him. I would also recommend Ait-nouri if you’re looking for a defender, I honestly would only put Gvadriol above him over the next few weeks, and I will most probably be bringing him in over Colwill.

Palmer vs Saka:

With the battle of London coming up this weekend I think it is fitting to have a look at both players key catalysts to see who you should have in your team this weekend.

First of all we need to take this all with a grain of salt as Palmer is an injury doubt and may not even play this weekend. But even for after this fixture if you are looking for a premium midfielder who would I recommend to go for between these two.(If you cant get them both)

Both of these two have been absolutely insane this season with Palmer already picking up seven goals and five assists and Saka picking up three goals and seven assists, ridiculous numbers for after ten games. Per game so far Palmer is averaging 8.2 points compared to Saka’s 7.22, So once again close in numbers. Boths fixture lists seem just as hard as each other and the only real factor I can think of between them is that Palmer is at home and has Leicester next, whilst Saka plays Nottingham Forest in his first game back after the international break.

palmer vs saka 24/25

Despite being at home I would say Palmer is a serial Blanker against big teams so I wouldn’t expect him to score(unless it’s from the spot), this weekend. While I would argue that Saka is more likely to hit the back of the net in a game like this.

Personally I would have them both, which is part of my own personal plan from this game week onwards. However if i had to pick for the next two games I would pick Palmer over Saka.

Buys of the week:

Cunha:

As previously stated he is a good buy with an excellent run of fixtures coming up over the next two months:

Evanilson:

Bournmouth have been class this season, and this man has been part of it.

Salah:

I honestly would say he has been the best FPL asset all season he is a must.

Mbeumo:

When its comes to value for money he is your man he will be on this list every week till the end of the season I can promise you that

Ait-nouri:

Same with Cunha his fixtures till Christmas are great and he is honestly the best defensive option outside Gvadriol at the moment

Dalot:

Man united with a new manager? we’ve all seen this before, expecting a good run of form so why not try hit them on the up and get one of their players in.

Don’t buys:

Diaz:

He has been arguably the best winger in the league this season but yet is a rotation risk, not worth the risk with slot-roulette

Solanke:

If you’re getting him you are only getting him for one fixture, with City coming up after the international break it would be a waste of a transfer

Johnson:

The same as Solanke it would just be a big waste of a transfer

Aina:

He done insane last week but i just can’t bring myself round to getting him especially with some hard fixtures coming up.

Differential pick of the week:

Wissa is this weeks differential choice at 5.9% owned I think he is a great choice, with 3 expected returns in the next five, and three decent fixtures coming up i like the look of Wissa

Wissa

Captain picks:

Okay so now we all well and truly have lost faith in Haaland, With a blank against Bournemouth and then against Sporting mid-week in the Champions League with even a missed penalty, its time to not just go Haaland for captain every week.

My picks this week have to be out of Salah, Solanke and Mbeumo.

1: Salah (The easy pick);

Salah

He has always returned against Aston Villa at home with 6 goals and 3 assists in 9 appearances against them, a very solid choice.

2: Solanke;

With two goals and an assist last weekend and Ipswich coming up, it feels like Solanke could be a great risk to take this weekend.

3: Mbuemo;

He is doing class this season, last season he scored i both games against Bournmouth so is likely to repeat once again.

My team:

This is the team that I will be going into this weekend with. The Fantasy Football hub rates it a 95% team so very happy with that and hoping for a good weekend.

gw11 team

Good luck to everyone this weekend and once again I look forward to hearing how you have all done on Monday.
