Player comparison:

Salah Vs Haaland:

Back to our usual battle and time for me to maybe push my views on how Salah is by far the better choice at the moment. Salahs points per game is over 2 points higher than Haalands. But a simple break down is that Haaland is more likely to score with him averaging 1.01 XG per game compared to Salahs 0.59, however salahs threat of assists makes him a better option with his 8 goals and 6 assists giving him a better output than Haalands 12 goals and 0 Assists.

Bruno Vs Isak:

They may play different positions but I think this week it is a decent comparison to make as Bruno is now under a new manager who looks likely to improve his form, while Isak had a poor start he has turned back into his usual self in recent weeks, picking up 6,9 and then 11 over the past three game weeks.

Bruno Vs Isak

Fixture wise Isak has West Ham, Palace coming up before Liverpool and then Leicester and Ipswich compared to Brunos which begins against Ipswich and Everton and then will go onto Arsenal and Man city so certainly a more difficult run of fixtures.

Personally I would recommend Isak above Bruno if you are looking at either of them and I do still believe it is better to sit out and watch Bruno over the next few games to see if it is worthwhile taking the risk on him.

Buys of the week:

  1. Evanilson (Bournmouth):

    • A differential but overperforming slightly.

  2. Nicolas Jackson (Chelsea):

    • Great short-term fixtures

  3. Cole Palmer (Chelsea):

    • Emerging as an essential player, offering penalties and consistent starts.

    • Phenomenal fixtures make him a must-have.

  4. Mohamed Salah (Liverpool):

    • Always a top-tier captaincy option.

    • Despite a tough fixture against Manchester City, his form justifies selection.

  5. Bruno Fernandes (Man Utd):

  • New manager in Amorim, who is expected to make bruno his main man, possibly slighly risky but certianly worth a punt if your looking a new midfielder

  • Gabriel (Arsenal):

  • A very decent run of fixtures coming up although Forest and United may be tricky games ahead

  1. Lewis Hall (Newcastle):

    • A great budget pick for rotation, especially for Gameweeks 12 and 13.

  2. Jurrien Timber (Arsenal):

    • Benefitting from Ben White’s injury; nailed on for upcoming fixtures.

Don’t buys:

  • Jamie Vardy (Leicester): Vardy is dealing with injury concerns and rotational risks. Unless Leicester’s fixtures improve, it might be time to sell him.

  • Dominic Solanke (spurs): Solanke has not been performing well, and tough fixtures lie ahead for Spurs. It’s a good time to move him out of your squad.

  • Dominic Calvert-Lewin (Everton)

  • Bryan Mbeumo (Brentford): Despite some recent form dip due to positional changes, Mbeumo’s fixtures are still favorable for the next two weeks. He’s worth keeping if you need a mid-price option

  • Lucas Digne (Aston Villa): Digne offers a potential attacking threat but comes with some rotation risk. If you're looking for a differential, he's worth monitoring.

  • Kieran Trippier (Newcastle): Trippier has a high ceiling, but he’s been rotated in the past, making him a riskier pick, especially with midweek fixtures ahead.

  • Luis Díaz and Garnacho: Uncertain roles and tough fixtures.

  • Watkins -expensive, off form

  • Chris Wood -poor fixtures

Differential pick of the week:

Well last weeks. differential was a brilliant choice Wissa who picked up 13 points.

This weeks is Bournmouth’s Evanilson, who is only 1.8% owned, which to me is crazy as since game week 6 he has picked up 39 points, for just £6 million he is an excellent choice

Captain picks:

  • Salah is the top choice for captain this week

  • Haaland comes in as a strong alternative for those who don't have Salah

  • Palmer and Isak are options, with Isak's fixture against West Ham being on the Monday.

Salah

My team:

Hopefully those international break knocks are all good and I have everyone playing this weekend, if so it should be a good weekend, I am very happy with all the fixtures apart from Johnsons game against Man City, however city have not been perfect and there is some sort of chance he could pick up points

my gw12 team

Once again I wish you all the best for this weekend and look forward to hearing how you all do on Monday.
